Located in Montpelier, ND amidst peace & quiet, fantastic hunting opportunities, and the beauty of rural North Dakota.
The Cabin has one private bedroom. The living room can sleep up to five with its bunk beds, a futon, and a couch. We provide linens and pillows for the beds. The living room is also equipped with a TV, VCR, DVD player, and a small library of movies (there is no TV service at the cabin). Also, gather around the wood stove if you like for a warm-up and/or dry-off, depending on the kind of day you had! The bathroom, kitchen, and laundry room are stocked with all the daily essentials. In the back yard you'll find a working hand-pump well and a large dog kennel with houses. Dogs are allowed in the cabin, just not on the furniture. There is also plenty of space to unhitch your trailer either on or off the street.
The area provides a great hunting experience of several kinds of game including pheasant, grouse, duck, goose, crane, swan, whitetail deer, and coyote. There are also great fishing opportunities in the area, and the scenic countryside is enchanting. We are both avid hunters, so we'll be glad to talk with you about what kind of hunting you plan on doing and give you some advice if we can. You are free to contact us during your stay if you are in need of information or supplies for the cabin.
The rate is $100 per night based on double occupancy. Add $10 per additional guest. Stay five nights, get the sixth free!
Rates include tax. Rates subject to change. A deposit of 50% of the total due will be necessary to secure your reservation for first-time customers. The deposit is non-refundable. We currently accept cash, check, and debit/credit/Paypal through the website.
*Jamestown has a population of approximately 16,000 and has many popular stores and restaurants. There is also an airport that currently has direct flights to Minneapolis. *Montpelier has a post office, a church, a K-12 school, and a bar & grill where you can get a bite to eat. Montpelier is located in the James River Valley, and cellular service is not very good in town. There is service in the area, and upon leaving town or just going up the nearby hill, you'll find reception. The cabin has no landline phone. *At http://gf.nd.gov you can find ND hunting/fishing information including regulations, and you can purchase your licenses online.
